The FLOORPAD is an all-new antenna designed for close range applications in highly congested RF environments. For best results, the FLOORPAD should be connected to your microphone receiver or IEM transmitter via low-loss coaxial cable and placed in the area of wireless operation. For diversity systems you can connect either a whip antenna or a remote antenna to the second antenna connector on the wireless receiver or transmitter. The thin FLOORPAD PVC molded pad can be hidden under stages, carpeting, podiums, or in a tradeshow booth. Since it is not a high gain system and is placed on the ground, the FLOORPAD can maintain a high quality RF link to your wireless audio device while reducing reception of interference sources outside its range. This gives your wireless equipment an advantage against high-power TV transmitters, other wireless devices in the venue, or unknown RF systems operating next door or down the street.
