The Ernie Ball 2915 Skinny Top/Heavy Bottom Slinky M-Steel Electric Guitar Strings are a set of ultra-high output strings with black coated ball ends. As some of the loudest, most expressive strings on the market, the Slinky M-Steel range provide increased output, frequency response and strength for reliability and consistency. M-Steel stands for Maraging Steel, which is a super-alloy constructed for use in high stress applications in aerospace and defence. The wound strings consist of a patented Super Cobalt alloy wire wrapped around a Maraging steel hexagonal core wire. This combination produces a richer and fuller tone with a powerful low end response. The plain strings from this range are each constructed from special tempered steel for maximum resistance to fatigue.
