Period-correct details on the American Vintage '72 Telecaster Custom include a 3-bolt neck plate with Micro-TiltT adjustment, a bullet truss rod nut and vintage-style F tuners. For classic ‘70’s Tele Custom tone, Fender has installed an American Vintage single-coil Telecaster in the bridge position and a Wide Range Humbucker at the neck, controlled by a three-way switch with an aged white tip and two skirted amp volume and tone controls.
