The EMG Jim Root JR “Daemonum” Set (F-Spaced) is based on Jim Root’s many years of experience with the legendary EMG 81/60 combination. Through numerous test variants, EMG and the Slipknot guitarist developed a humbucker set that combines the uncompromising punch and precision of classic EMG models with the enhanced dynamics and versatility of the Retro-Active series. This F-Spaced variant is specially tuned for electric guitars with a Floyd Rose tremolo system to get the very best output from your Floyd Rose guitar. The neck pickup features ceramic pole pieces and delivers an articulate sound with clear highs and precise response, whilst the bridge pickup provides tight riffs, aggressive mids and the characteristic high-gain foundation of modern metal sounds. Specially developed Retro-Active preamps give both pickups additional expressiveness and a particularly direct playing feel.
