The Fender Limited Edition America Vintge '59 Pine Stratocaster is based on the first Leo Fender prototype and accordingly has a pine body whose individual drawing remains visible through the transparent finish. The screwed, one-piece maple neck lies comfortably in the hand. In addition, three Fender American Vintage Single Coil pickups on the amplifier provide the classic Strat tone with bell-like sound development. Last but not least, the Fender American Vinage '59 Pine Stratocaster features the proven Fender Synchronized Tremolo and precise vintage tuners.
The body of the Fender American Vintage '59 Pine Strat is made of "Cooked Reclaimed Pine", which was initially used for over 100 years in the Buckstaff Furniture Company building in Oshkosh, Wisconsin. Accordingly, it is wood that has been stored for a long time, which promises a bright basic sound with a crisp attack thanks to additional thermal treatment. Thanks to the"D" profile and oil finish, the screwed, one-piece maple neck offers a particularly pleasant feel that lets every note go almost by itself.
The Fender Limited Edition American Vintage '59 Pine Stratocaster has a pickguard made of brushed black anodized aluminum carrying three Fender American Vintage Stratocaster single coil pickups. Based on the historical construction with Formvar Wire, Alnico 5 magnets and volcanic fibre coilformers, these pickups deliver an authentic Vintage Strat sound, whose bell-clear sound development and lively dynamics give classic blues and rock a special expressiveness. The typical Stratocaster circuitry can be used to call up a wide range of different timbres.
In addition, the Fender Limited Edition American Vintage '59 Pine Stratocaster features high-quality and functional hardware in traditional vintage style. On the body, the proven Fender American Vintage Synchronized Tremolo is used, with which dazzling modulations of pitch can be created. Behind the bone saddle on the headstock, six Fender Vintage Style tuners ensure precise and stable tuning.
