So I bought this so I could connect a phone/tablet to the CD in on my mixer. The cable itself is great quality, however there is a gigantic flaw, and that is the 3.5mm jack.

It doesn't work if your device is in a cover, the end of the jack is just too fat, it doesn't have that little big sticking out that is thinner that a lot of headphone jacks would have, which allow them to go into the smaller openings on covers.

So to use this with a tablet or a phone, you'll have to take them out of their protective cover/case which is really annoying. Skip this and go for something else with a better designed jack end.
