The snare with brass shell was modeled after the legendary Black Beauty model from Ludwig in terms of construction,appearance and sound. The high-quality shell delivers with its thickness of 1.0 mm outstanding resonance and sensitive response. The characteristic Ludwig sound with distinctive mids and shimmering overtones as well as balanced bass is unmistakable. The Ludwig Universal Brass Snare Drums offers excellent balance for any style of music. From the factory, the popular P88i throw-off is installed, in combination with the chrome tube lugs and the triple flanged hoops, a professional overall appearance is created.
