In the PST5 series, B8 bronze is used, an alloy consisting of 92% copper and 8% tin. Over the years, Paiste has perfected this material to produce a cymbal that delivers consistent performance. Many recognize this alloy as 2002 bronze, the same material used in the legendary Paiste 2002 cymbal series.
