Now i have got the hang of it,wave files no problem, but one station transmits in aac,it wont accept this format in digital mode, but got around this.
I bought this replace an aging Tascam DA-40 DAT recorder and let me tell you, it sounds phenomenal. This is one piece of gear that gave me that WOW factor. Recording WAV from 44.1 to 192khz sounds great, but the DSD ability is second to none. It produces the best sounding recordings i have ever very new heard. Now, when i mix a track, I always record to DSD as well as WAV and I the next master from the DSD recording I make and then take a 16/44.1 recording from the final masterered track at the end.
This Master recorder is probably the single best investment I have ever made in pro audio in many, many years. The nice chaps at DV247 very very professional and got me DA-3000 in a very good time and at the best price.
