With the Charvel USA Select Sand Dimas Style 1 HSS HT Satin Plum, the American Hard'n'Heavy pioneer revives the glorious 80s and presents a straight electric guitar for rock and metal that invites you to compose fat riffs and virtuoso solos with flawless workmanship, versatile DiMarzio pickups and high playing comfort.
The Charvel USA Select San Dimas Style 1 HSS HT is a rectilinear rock and metal guitar in the style of the 1980s.
With a classic alder body and a screwed maple neck with rosewood fingerboard, the Charvel USA Select San Dimas Style 1 HSS HT follows the traditional design, which promises a balanced basic sound with powerful attack for fat solos and riffs. Thanks to the matt back and slim profile, the neck offers a high playing comfort even during long sessions, which is supported by the fingerboard with 12" to 16" compound radius and rounded edges.
The electrical sound conversion of the Charvel USA Select San Dimas Style 1 HSS HT Satin Plum is done by pickups from DiMarzio. The DiMarzio DP100 Super Distortion Humbucker on the bridge is an absolute classic that lives up to its name and delivers a fat distortion sound for screaming solos and pumping riffs. The humbucker is complemented by two DiMarzio DP116 HS-2, which convince with authentic, bell-like-light single coil sounds without annoying background noises. The straight control panel consists of a 5-way blade switch and a volume control.
High-quality hardware completes the equipment of the Charvel USA Select San Dimas Style 1 HSS HT. The solid hardtail bridge with string guidance through the body promises perfect vibration transmission and fast response of the electric guitar, while individually adjustable string riders ensure perfect intonation and string position. At the headstock, the strings are guided via a bone saddle to the Charvel Locking mechanisms, which ensure high tuning stability and significantly simplify string changes.
