Fame Audio Discovery 15AS DSP

With the Discovery series Fame Audio presents active 2-way speakers and subwoofers which set new standards in quality, functionality and design in their price class. Whether in the rehearsal room, the event venue or in the club, the DISCOVERY series offers a lot of pressure with high-resolution sound.

The included digital signal processor (DSP) makes it possible to adjust the sound to every situation. The processor offers different presets (Normal, Live, Club, Speech) and EQ settings. The active loudspeakers are characterized by the DSP, 2 input channels (XLR/jack and RCA/AUX) and an XLR mix output. The integrated 35 mm flange, which can be tilted by 7.5", and the two M10 mounting points on the top of the housing are also practical.

The active subwoofers with their powerful and precise bass provide the perfect foundation for the DISCOVERY loudspeakers. The crossover function integrated in the DSP makes it easy to combine tops and subs. Even for larger sound reinforcement systems, the DSP offers practical presets for "Cardioid" and "Endfire" positioning.

First class components

The Fame Audio Discovery 15AS DSP is the ideal supplement to the active speakers of the Discovery series. Driven by a 500 Watt (RMS) Class-D amplifier and the 15" woofer with 3" voice coil, the Discovery 15AS DSP delivers an impressive maximum level of 126 dB. The frequency range down to 35 Hz impresses with exceptional clarity and minimal distortion even at high levels. The subwoofer has two XLR/jack combo jacks and two XLR outputs for routing the signal.

Integrated DSP with selectable presets

For a subwoofer to be part of an ideal loudspeaker system, it must fit seamlessly. The built-in DSP offers two selectable presets and a crossover frequency that can be selected in several steps to perfectly match the speaker with which the subwoofer is used. For setups with two or more subwoofers, the DSP also offers selectable convenient presets for "Cardioid" and "Endfire" positioning.

High quality housing

The robust cabinet is constructed from 15mm plywood with an abrasion resistant black textured coating and is equipped with a steel front grill. The cabinet has four recessed carrying handles and is equipped for castor mounting.
