The Fender Bassman 800 Head bass amplifier skillfully bridges the gap between vintage and modern. The powerful top for electric bass is equipped with an 800-watt Class D amplifier, while two 12AX7s in the two-channel preamp provide perfect sound.

The Fender Bassman 800 Head combines a classic tube preamplifier with a powerful Class D amplifier.

Two channels for versatile sounds

Both channels of the Fender Bassman 800 Head offer a wide sound spectrum. In the vintage channel, the top part delivers classic Fender tones that can be adjusted with the 3-band tone control that works interactively. The overdrive channel, on the other hand, features bold tube distortions that are perfectly adjustable with semi-parametric mids thanks to gain controls and 3-band tone control. The overdrive channel also features a blend control for mixing the clear bass signal.

Equipped for stage and studio

The modern Class D amplifier of the Fender Bassman contributes significantly to the low weight of the top of just 7.7 kg. With its 800 watt output power, it also offers sufficient volume reserves for every performance. Thanks to the balanced XLR line output, nothing stands in the way of easy removal of the bass amplifier in the studio or on stage.
