With the Furch Red Pure Gc-SR the Czech manufacturer, under the direction of Petr Furch, presents a fully solid acoustic guitar in Grand-Auditorium-design, which perfectly illustrates the decades of know-how of the manufacturer with its high-quality workmanship and its perfect sound characteristics. Its medium sized construction transports very defined frequencies, which hold their own perfectly with expressive strummings as well as with fine pickings. The instrument from the Rainbow series comes with a sturdy case.
Construction and woods
Thanks to a Top made of Sitka spruce, the mid and treble frequencies unfold in a very defined way and are additionally coloured by a very comprehensive saturation, which is developed by a body made of East Indian rosewood. A generous Cutaway allows a perfect access to all 20 frets, which are inserted in a Fretboard of Ziricote, which can be grasped thanks to a mahogany neck with a Soft-V-profile.
Design and Hardware
A compensated saddle made of GraphTech TUSQ and a finely notched 45 mm wide nut ensure clean intonation throughout the entire 65Scale length 0 mm. In addition, high-quality Gotoh 510 tun ers with their 1:21 ratio guarantee precise tuning of the 6 steel strings. The silver Hardware, as well as the multi-layered Koa top binding and a corresponding soundhole rosette give the Furch Red Pure Gc-SR acoustic guitar a very noble appearance, which is perfectly rounded off by a wafer-thin High-gloss finish perfectly rounded off.
