KORG minilogue xd inverted at a glance

The minilogue xd inverted synthesizer follows the proven, direct operating concept of its predecessors and also offers exciting new features. The clearly designed, four-voice instrument can be played directly via 37 keys. A total of 500 memory locations provide space to save and develop your own sounds. The polyphonic, unison, chord and Arpeggiator modes are available for creative use of the voices.

In addition to the two powerful analog oscillators with variable waveforms, there is now a new type of digital oscillator that accommodates various simplified sound generation forms (32 variants in total) including four noise forms. The generated spectrum is supplemented by hardsync, ring modulation and cross modulation. The filter is balanced analog with a slightly biting touch.

High gloss

The sound of the hybrid synthesizer is refined with an extensive effects palette, which literally draws on the full range with a total of 35 different modulation effects such as phaser, chorus, Flanger etc., 20 different delays and 18 Reverb variants.

Full control

The minilogue also features a polyphonic step sequencer which, together with the currently active voice assignment, can conjure up different results from the same sequence. Up to four parameters can be recorded and played back in the sequencer. This really brings the pattern to life and you have your hands free again after the input. Before the sound is sent to the audio outputs, the final stage is a high-resolution OLED display that shows the waveform of the sound being played in real time. It should not go unmentioned that the xd has two switchable CV inputs; modularists will be particularly pleased with this feature.
