The EM-401 Aprés Dix from LA Circuits is a discrete analog multimode filter with four different filter characteristics. In parallel, the filter stages 24dB lowpass, 24dB highpass, 12dB bandpass and 12dB notch can be tapped at any time and can be made to self-oscillate. Thanks to the two level controls you can save an additional mixer module in some patches. To modulate the cutoff with control voltages, two inputs are provided, one of them with a unipolar attenuator. The resonance parameter has an open feedback path; if you loop in a delay effect here, for example, things get really interesting.
