Crossfader Module

The Noise Engineering Confundo Funkitus is a crossfade module for modular synthesizers in Eurorack format. It fades between two sets of four rhythms. The module uses the probability for this. Three different probability curves can be selected to control the behavior of the crossfader. Per-part Switch Mutes are included in live use. Connect up to four rhythm outputs to each of the two input sets. Connect the outputs to modules that react to trigger signals. The curve switch can be used to determine the behaviour of the crossfader.

Operating Principle

If the Curve switch is at the top position and the crossfader is completely left, only inputs on the left side will create gates. When the crossfader is positioned in the centre, the centre light illuminates and the 2x rhythms merge: gates are generated each time a rhythm is played. When the crossfader is to the right, the generated gates come from the second (right) set of inputs.

The main features of the Noise Engineering Confundo Funkitus include:

  • 12HP Crossfade Module in Eurorack Format
  • Crossfades between 2x Sets of 4x Rhythms
  • 3x Different Probability Curves
  • 8x Inputs Divided into 2x Sets
  • 4x Rhythm Outputs for Trigger Signals
