The PRS Custom 22 Piezo Trampas Green convinces as the classic workhorse in the stable of Paul Reed Smith with particularly versatile sounds that make it the ideal all-round electric guitar for almost any musical style. PRS uses the classic mahogany construction with set neck and chic maple top, while rosewood is used for the 22 fret fretboard. Two PRS 85/15 humbuckers with 5-way switching provide furthermore an extensive sound palette, which complements the piezo pickup system with authentic acoustic sounds. Last but not least, the PRS Custom 22 Piezo Trampas Green is equipped with the patented PRS Gen III tremolo and precise PRS Phase III locking tuners.
It goes without saying that the Custom 22 Piezo Trampas Green is built with carefully selected woods of the highest quality. Accordingly, the electric guitar has a mahogany body and a glued mahogany neck, which together with the solid maple top create the conditions for a particularly lively, warm sound. The pleasantly strong pattern neck profile is furthermore comfortable in the hand, so that on the rosewood fingerboard any playing technique can be implemented without any problems.
Two PRS 85/15 humbuckers in the neck and bridge position make the PRS Custom 22 Piezo Trampas Green on the guitar amplifier a true all-rounder that has the right sound ready for almost any style of music. Thus, the pickup convince with the balance of bass and treble with an enormous clarity, while the characterful mids convey a self-confident assertiveness. The 5-way switch furthermore calls up the pickup or its individual coils in different combinations, so that versatile timbres for clean and overdrive sounds can be realized. Above that, the piezo pickup system designed in collaboration with LR Baggs is ready for authentic acoustic guitar sounds.
Last but not least, the Paul Reed Smith Custom 22 Piezo Trampas Green is equipped with high-quality PRS hardware of the third generation. On the body sits accordingly the patented PRS Gen III tremolo, which through a series of thoughtful construction details not only positively influences the sound development, but also impresses a particularly smooth and detuning-free handling. At the headstock, the strings are also guided with a straight course to the lightweight PRS Phase III locking tuners, which guarantee an exact tuning.
