With the 214ce-FS DLX, Taylor presents a special edition with laminated sides and back in unique figurative Sapele in a strictly limited edition. In addition to the body already mentioned, this Special Edition is equipped with a solid Sitka spruce top. Accordingly, this acoustic guitar resonates with tight basses, vocal and nuanced mids and fine silver highs. This makes the Taylor 214ce-FS DLX suitable for almost all music styles and can rightly be described as an"all-rounder". Whether flatpicking, strumming or fingerstyle, the clearly defined mid-high range contributes to the balance and clarity of the Grand Auditorium, which still has enough power in the upper and lower sound ranges. In addition, small diamonds inlays adorn the fretboard, while chrome-plated die-cast mechanisms provide precise tuning and tuning stability. For enhanced stage performance, the Taylor in-house ES-2 pickup is available, which scores with a clear and dynamic sound. Of course the DLX version comes with a Taylor case.
