It provides a huge selection of unique and unconventional grooves and fills (+400!), clearly organized in typical song structures like intro, verse, pre chorus, refrain, bridge etc. played by studio drummer Norman Garshke, the audio/MIDI drummer of Superior Drummer 3, the sounds sound extremely realistic, but thanks to MIDI can be adapted to your own needs. For example, breakbeats, classic snare drum performances and typical tom-groves are available at any time. In addition to the classical 4/4 time, variations are of course not to be missed, so that 3/4, 6/8 and 7/8 time signatures in Straight, Ballad, Uptempo and Halftime Feeling can also be used if required. Thus the Toontrack Action Drums represent a perfect palette for action scenes, an energetic breakbeat motif, fast-cut electronic tracks or bombastic spatial drum riffs.
"My goal was to put together typical and sometimes rather unconventional grooves and rhythms that could serve as the basis for very energetic, intensive and action-packed music productions. Each of the grooves should work on its own and also support an isolated action atmosphere perfectly. It was also very important to me that all grooves would work on traditional acoustic drum sets, making them a perfect starting point for any kind of songwriting and/or sound design," says drummer Norman Garschke.
