Dynamic Studio Headphone The DT 880 combines the advantages of open headphones with those of closed studio headphones. The improved systems of the legendary DT 880 provide a high quality studio headphone with excellent analytical properties, especially for classical music. The balanced reduction of environmental noise guarantees a perfect spherical sound, while the complete sound spectrum is reproduced in great detail from the lowest sub bass up to the highest frequencies.
Nice and crisp high freq, low freq present but not emphasized. Accurate sound reproduction and good sound stage. Comfortable for longer wear.
One of the best Ive used so far. Best suited for studio/home studio mixing purpose.
A good representation of the full frequency spectrum.
Balanced, detailed sounding treble that extends very high. A smooth mid range that seems to dip ever so slightly in the more 'lower-mid' frequencys, I feel this contributes to a pleasant wide and bright sound with good instrument separation.
When compared to another popular open headphone like the Sennheiser HD650 the mid range of the DT800 is not as smooth and lush sounding, vocals and guitars don't sound as weighty. However as a studio tool I think the DT800 has the potential to be somewhat more revealing.
The bass stays very balanced and separate, bringing forward a lot of 'texture' from bass instruments as well as extending down into the sub-bass (20-40hz) comfortably.
Excellent headphone, for studio and hi fi use, a very good all-rounder!
Very comfortable, good sound and great for home studio mixing.
I strongly recommend a good choice for a low price.
Service delivery after ordering, fast and always very informative about the current state of order.
Deadlines met.
Very comfortable headphones, wearable for hours as they are semi opened. The frequency response is great with not too much basses and really great for mixing. I always get easily good results when I use them for mixing.
