The Ibanez KIKO10P 6-String Electric Guitar Transparent in Ruby Red is a signature guitar for Brazilian virtuoso Kiko Louriero and is the more affordable version of the original KIKO 100p.
It comes in an Ibanez ‘S-Shape’ body however it is not quite as thin and is built from a Flame maple top and Alder body. This in Kiko’s opinion helps to deliver more defined notes particularly in the lower reaches of the neck. The Rosewood fingerboard is a standard sign of comfort in playability whilst the beautiful tribal Amazonian inlay stays true to his own Brazilian roots. For the higher reaches – a uniquely scooped lower horn helps for further comfortable accessibility.
Other great appointments include an Ibanez Trem Edge Zero II bridge which provides great sustain and control whilst never compromising on the reliability of tuning and a push pull tap coil system for huge tonal versatility as you would come to expect from a guitarist that regularly plays between the parameters of metal, fusion and Brazilian music. The pick-ups themselves are custom made by Di-Marzio and help deliver a huge range of tones at the highest of standards.
