The Jackson Pro Plus Signature Misha Mansoor Juggernaut ET7 Metallic Black electric guitar is the 7-string weapon of choice for djent pioneer and fretboard virtuoso Misha Mansoor, who, with his band Periphery, is clearly one of the greats of progressive metal. As an instrument from the Pro Plus series, the Juggernaut therefore features a number of interesting specifications that make it the perfect companion for tight high-gain riffs and razor-sharp leads. In addition, Jackson Guitars includes a matching gig bag with the Pro Plus Series Signature Misha Mansoor Juggernaut.
The basic design of the Juggernaut consists of a poplar body with wide cutaways and a bolt-on neck. The maple used for the neck has undergone a caramelisation process, which drives resins and other decomposition products out of the wood through heating, thereby ensuring additional stability. The neck is finished with an ebony fingerboard featuring 24 stainless steel jumbo frets; with its ultra-flat 20" radius, it provides the ideal foundation for effortless bar-playing and sustain-rich bends.
The two Jackson MM1 humbuckers in the neck and bridge positions of the Pro Plus Series Signature Misha Mansoor Juggernaut have been fully wound to Misha’s specifications and correspond down to the last detail to his sonic vision of a refined metal pickup. The result is a pickup with exceptionally high output that remains tight at all times and is capable of clearly defining percussive rhythm playing. To maintain the greatest possible clarity in the pickups’ sound, the tone control features a push/pull function. This activates the tone control only when it is needed and otherwise removes it from the signal path.
