With the Gibson Les Paul Classic HP 2017 LH Heritage Cherry Sunburst, Gibson USA presents the allrounder from the high performance series in the left-handed version. Based on the traditional construction with mahogany body, glued neck made of the same material and a slightly flamed maple top, the Lefthand electric guitar offers perfect playing comfort thanks to 9 hole weight relief and the fluently designed neck foot. Gibson 57 Classic Humbucker amplifiers offer a versatile sound between vintage and modern, whose spectrum is significantly extended by the possibility of assigning the four push/pull potentiometers to different functions via DIP switches in the electric compartment. Versatile coil split and out-of-phase sounds are available. In addition, the Gibson Les Paul Classic 2017 HP is equipped with the G-Force tuning system. The electric guitar tunes itself automatically at the push of a button, whereby different tunings can be stored in the rich memory locations.

For the Les Paul Classic Lefthand Gibson uses the so-called Traditional Weight Relief. The instrument is given a total of 9 targeted resonance chambers, which reduce the weight of the Paula on the belt and on the lap without distorting the classic LP sound. The body is finished with a two-piece flamed maple top with classic carving. In addition, the Gibson Les Paul Classic HP Lefthand offers the Fast Access Heel, which ensures unimpeded playability thanks to the smooth transition between neck and body.

Gibson USA uses the proven combination of '57 Classic and '57 Classic Plus for the most flexible pickup setup possible. The two humbuckers follow the tradition of the coveted Applied For Pickups of the legendary Burst era and are adapted to their respective positions for a good mix in between. The Les Paul Classic 2017 HP comes with classic electronic layout with double volume and tone potentiometers per pickup, but have four push/pull switches whose function can be individually assigned via the internal DIP switch.
