With the USB-MIDI Breath Controller, MRT Audio presents the logical evolution of the popular Breath Controller V3. The converter box generates up to three Control Change values (MIDI CC) simultaneously. This opens up entirely new possibilities, as it is now possible, for example, to modulate expression, the modulation wheel and the filter simultaneously with varying intensities by blowing into the controller. The free web configurator gives you full access to all the parameters provided by the converter box. For each of the three layers, you can assign a CC parameter and define its value range. Limiting the value range has the advantage that, for example, with the same blowing intensity, you only cover the first third of a parameter range. Furthermore, you can adjust the response curve across six levels and, of course, manage the presets. Three presets can be switched directly on the unit. For ease of use, the converter box is equipped with a control for sensor sensitivity. MIDI parameters are output either via USB-C or the MIDI TRS output.
