With the Marshall DSL40C Cream, the original British amplifier manufacturer presents a limited edition of its most popular full tube combos, which immediately catches the eye with its cream-white Tolex cover. Thanks to two channels with switchable sound modes, the amp covers the entire spectrum of classic and modern Brit sounds, while 40 watts and a 12" speaker from Celestion promise powerful sounds.
The two-channel preamplifier of the Marshall DSL40C works with three ECC83 tubes and covers a wide sound spectrum with the "Classic Gain" and "Ultra Gain" channels, each with two selectable gain modes. From traditional clean to rich overdrive to modern high gain metal distortion, the DSL40C Combo covers the entire spectrum of typical Marshall sounds.
To adjust the sound, the Marshall DSL40C has a common 3-band tone control for both channels. This is supplemented by a "Tone Shift"-switch, which influences the midrange reproduction and thus enables scoops for modern metal. The integrated reverb of the DSL40 Combo convinces with its natural three-dimensionality and offers a separate level control for each of the channels.
Equipped with two EL34 tubes, the power amplifier of the Marshall DSL40C delivers 40 watts and thus provides sufficient volume reserves for rehearsal room and gigs. Thanks to the integrated power switching, nothing stands in the way of using the compact combo in your own four walls. The power of the power amplifier is delivered to a 12" Celestion Seventy 80 loudspeaker, which fits perfectly to the character of the DSL40C with its balanced reproduction.
