The Paiste Giant Beat "Multi" Crash Cymbal 18" is an 18" crash cymbal, with a thin-medium gauge, made of CuSn8 bronze, that is hand hammered, and features a vintage "Giant-Beat" Silk-Screen finish. These venerable cymbals - developed during the 1960’s rapid expansion of popular music - were faithfully recreated and re-launched by Paiste in 2005. Giant Beat cymbals offer the big, warm, brilliant vintage sound that takes you straight back to the roots of Rock. The "Multis" are thin crash cymbals, well suited for ride applications too. This cymbal features a mellow, yet cutting and powerful sound with a fairly wide range. This crash cymbal can produce a distinctive silvery breath over a big, soft layered wash, with a very responsive and giving feel.
