The limited Gretsch G5435TG Pro Jet from the Electromatic series offers classic Penguin flair at an affordable price. The charming Solid Body one relies on solid Gold - Hardware and a real Bigsby B-50 vibrato system, while two Blacktop Filter'Tron Humbucker in the original design are responsible for the sound transformation.
The basic construction of the G5435TG consists of a tried Singlecut and tested hollow-milled Linde body, which is finished with a domed top made of laminated maple, giving the instrument silhouette its traditional shaping. Thanks to a wide cut and without a disturbing neck foot, the glued maple neck can be played cleanly up to the highest positions of the rosewood fingerboard and offers enough wood for the left hand thanks to its strong profile.
With the Blacktop Filter 'Trons Gretsch a true piece of history begins. The popular Humbucker narrow magnetic fields were used in the sixties and seventies and got their name from the use of black HiLoTron cases. Both Seventies-style blacktops offer a slightly increased output and provide a versatile setup from Vintage -sounds to the up-beat Brown Sound .
For the Limited Edition Electromatic, the G5435TG Gretsch is a further addition and is Instrument completely equipped with gold-coloured Hardware . In addition to the proven Gretsch AdjustoMatic bridge with individually adjustable string riders and two knurled screws for adjusting the string height, Pro Jet the Bigsby B-50 comes with an original vibrato system with classic lever and engraved Bigsby - Logo . The coveted "horseshoe" in the Gold finish not only allows flowing glissandi, but also ensures the harmonious optical appearance of the G5435TG Electromatic Pro Jet .
