The PRS S2 Standard 22 McCarty Tobacco Sunburst represents Paul's 22-flush electric guitar concept within the S2 series from US-American production. The Instrument top-load design offers two S2 #7s Humbucker including coil split option for flexible sounds and the proven Pattern Regular neck profile as an ideal platform for lead and rhythm playing. No matter if Blues, Rock , Metal or Punk: The S2 Standard 22 is a real workhorse.
With a body and neck made of mahogany, the S2 Standard 22 follows the traditional wood PRS selection and, with classic neck gluing, offers a discreet neck foot for easy access to the high registers of the fingerboard. In front, the proven " Pattern Regular " neck profile ensures classic PRS handling, while the asymmetrical Body carving has a comfortable armrest surface even for longer gigs.
As a true all-rounder, the Standard 22 two PRS S2 #7 humbuckers offer a versatile sound with the right amount of output for crunchy fields. Whether singing blues licks, powerful riffs with rich Overdrive sustain or solos with singing sustain, the PRS S2 Standard 22 feels at home in every musical style. For this purpose, the electric guitar was equipped with a Master Tone control with push/pull function in order to elicit typical tangy Single Coil sounds from both pickups.
