The ESI cosMik 10 is a compact studio condenser microphone that is particularly suitable for vocal and acoustic recordings. With a length of only 13 cm, it remains inconspicuous in the setup and can also be used in smaller recording environments without any problems. Despite its size, it delivers a clean and precise image that is interesting for both beginners and ambitious home studio productions.
With a sound pressure limit of 135 dB SPL, the cosMik 10 can easily cope with loud signals without distorting them. At the same time, the very low self-noise of just 5 dBA ensures that even quiet passages can be recorded in detail and without distracting background noise. This is particularly noticeable with vocals, acoustic instruments or voice recordings.
The cardioid polar pattern picks up sound specifically from the front and largely blocks out noise from the sides and rear. This helps to reduce disturbing room components or background noise and to focus clearly on the desired sound source. This is a clear advantage in typical home studio situations.
The integrated 1" capsule ensures balanced and transparent sound reproduction across the entire frequency range from 30 Hz to 18 kHz. Voices are present without being overemphasized and acoustic instruments retain their natural dynamics and fine detail.
The cosMik 10 comes with everything you need for immediate use. The scope of delivery includes a 2.5 m XLR cable, a stand mount, a table stand and a foam windscreen. The integrated red LED indicates whether the required 48 V phantom power is present.
