The EVH Limited Edition Striped Frankenstein MN Aged Black and Yellow is Eddie Van Halen’s faithful replica of his legendary Frankenstrat (“Frankie”), authentically reproduced from the Relic finish to the dummy neck pickup and the dummy switch located in the middle pickup slot. The guitar features a basswood body and a bolt-on quartersawn maple neck with an oil finish, while the slim “EVH Modified C” profile and compound-radius fingerboard provide exceptional playability. Equipped with an EVH Wolfgang humbucker mounted directly into the body at the bridge, the EVH Frankie delivers hot rock tones at the amplifier, handling flowing solo lines, virtuoso tapping, and tight rhythm riffs with equal precision. As a true super-strat, the guitar also includes a Floyd Rose double-locking tremolo with D-Tuna, allowing detuning-free operation and lightning-fast, precise retuning to Drop-D.
