The Ketron GLOBE arranger keyboard at a glance:
With the GLOBE, Ketron presents a state-of-the-art arranger keyboard that offers not only a comprehensive range of sounds but also top-class entertainment features. Designed for solo entertainers, bands, performers, solo artists and songwriters, the keyboard is equipped with cutting-edge features that make playing and working on the instrument a real pleasure. The instrument features a very comfortable-to-play, semi-weighted 61-key keyboard that supports aftertouch and velocity sensitivity. The 216-voice polyphony is distributed across all parts and is sufficiently high even in denser arrangements to ensure that no note cuts out prematurely.
A workhorse for the stage and for songwriters
In its role as an arranger keyboard, the Ketron GLOBE is superbly equipped. Hardly any genre is left out, and the possible combinations – both during live performances and with pre-prepared tracks – are simply enormous! Styles and patterns can be swapped and their tempo adjusted in a flash. With hundreds of styles divided into the Real, Live, MIDI and User categories; over 600 live drum kits, 780 grooves, 250 guitar patterns and dozens of chord patterns, everything you could possibly wish for to get off to a flying start is on board. Of course, you can also create your own styles, grooves, patterns and chord patterns!
The Globe’s biggest unique selling point is its audio styles with a genuine band atmosphere! Instead of using MIDI accompaniments exclusively, Ketron combines real audio recordings of drums, bass and guitars with MIDI data. This makes the accompaniments sound significantly more natural and lively than on many traditional arranger keyboards. For you as a musician, this offers the key advantage of being able to use even more realistic drums, authentic bass lines and natural-sounding guitar and backing tracks. The somewhat ‘mechanical’ character of traditional MIDI styles fades into the background, and it simply sounds more like a band.

Sounds & Effects
The 2.5 GB sound library offers a selection of over 1,280 high-quality sounds and 62 percussion sets, which are ideally suited to various styles such as rock, pop, Schlager, folk and evergreens. In addition, there are numerous memory slots for your own custom sounds. To put the finishing touches to the sounds, Ketron has pulled out all the stops and equipped the GLOBE with a wide range of effects, including delay, reverb, distortion and various modulation effects (such as chorus, flanger and phaser). Furthermore, the microphone input is equipped with a three-part vocal harmoniser (Voicetron), so you can create sung harmonies and backing vocals in no time at all. The built-in audio mixer allows for detailed settings for each track and even incorporates the various players.
Everything at a glance
The large 7-inch touchscreen is the keyboard’s central control element. With crystal-clear image quality, the touchscreen provides access to all functions and features and ensures practical handling, thanks in part to its structured menu navigation. Numerous dedicated buttons provide the quickest route to various functional areas, making navigation through the menu even easier.
The rear panel of the GLOBE is impressively well-equipped. In addition to the keyboard , there are Expression and Sustain foot pedal sockets, as well as the FS6 and FS13 pedalboards. This enhances the expressive possibilities on the keyboard using the familiar pedals. MIDI communication takes place via the DIN In/Out sockets and USB. This is perfect for anyone wishing to connect additional equipment to the GLOBE, such as a second keyboard manual, a rack expander or a DAW. As a complete all-in-one live instrument, it naturally features audio inputs! On the input side, the keyboard boasts two microphone inputs with XLR combo sockets and 6.3 mm jack connectors respectively. The first microphone input even has a direct output. For signal output, there is a stereo pair and a headphone output. On the right-hand side panel , you’ll also find an SD card reader, a USB device port and two USB host ports for expanding storage and connecting additional keyboards and controllers. The HDMI video output displays, amongst other things, song lyrics, sheet music or a mirrored screen on a connected TV or projector.
