The Mackie Thump15Sv4 is an active 15" PA subwoofer designed to deliver a powerful, precise bass foundation in both portable and fixed-installation sound systems. With its 15" high-performance woofer and 1,400-watt Class-D amplifier, it delivers punchy low frequencies and is ideal for expanding compatible full-range top boxes. Its flexible adaptation to different speaker systems is particularly practical. The crossover frequency can be switched to optimally match the subwoofer to compatible top boxes. Presets are available at 140 Hz for the Thump12v4, 110 Hz for the Thump15v4 and 150 Hz for the Thump GO. Furthermore, the crossover frequency can be adjusted continuously, allowing other top units to be integrated with ease. The setup is complemented by a phase reversal switch and a mono/stereo switch, offering additional flexibility when configuring the system.

The Mackie Thump15Sv4 is also designed for professional use when it comes to its connections. It features two balanced XLR inputs and four balanced XLR outputs, divided into two full-range and two high-pass outputs. This allows the subwoofer to be seamlessly integrated into existing PA set-ups. An input gain control and an overload LED make it easy to monitor levels during operation. Additional operational reliability is provided by peak and RMS limiters, as well as a thermal protection circuit that reliably safeguards the system even under heavy load.
