PDP Concept Classic Snare 14"x6,5" Walnut / Natural Hoops

The PDP Concept Classic Snare 14"x6.5", in the Walnut Finish with Natural Hoops combination, is a snare drum with wooden hoops and made entirely from maple. Maple shells produce a warm tone, which is further enhanced here by the maple hoops. The vintage cast lugs add a retro touch and are secured to the dual turret lugs using the well-known True Pitch tension screws. Fully chrome-plated, the robust shell hardware provides a touch of contrast to the matt surfaces of the shell and hoops. The same applies to the patented DW Mag Throw-Off mechanism, and even the 20-coil steel snare wire features a chrome finish.

Concept Classic

Following the launch of a whole range of vintage drum kits from PDP with the Concept Classic Shell Sets, the Concept Classic Snares are now here to complete the collection. The five colour combinations from the shell sets have been carried over to the snares, so there is now a colour-coordinated snare for every set. Of course, you’re free to mix and match as you please. A Natural/Natural Hoops snare in an Ebony kit, or vice versa? Or perhaps a completely different set? It’s all no problem with the Concept Classic snares from PDP.
