To activate the hardware unlock, the controller must be connected to the computer via USB and switched on while the software is running. The software uses a handshake protocol to check whether the controller is unlocked and automatically activates the Pro features without the need to enter a serial number.

The DJM-S11 delivers a clear and dense sound inspired by the DJM-900NXS2. Equipped with a 64-bit DSP for studio-quality mix and dither processing, a precise clock with minimal jitter and a high-quality 32-bit D/A converter in the master-out section, it guarantees outstanding audio quality for every performance.
The 4.3-inch color touch display (approx. 11 cm) with high resolution offers all important information such as waveforms, BPM and more. It is customizable and ideal for browsing tracks. TOUCH FX enables simultaneous control of two effects with one finger movement, while Touch MIDI allows direct control of the DJ software - intuitively and efficiently.
The effects section offers 22 beat FX, including new options such as "Fader Pitch" and "Helix", which open up creative possibilities for every Set. Smooth Echo is an innovative effect that is automatically activated when faders are moved or previously assigned pads are used. This function enables smooth transitions and expands creative freedom.
The sixteen enlarged performance pads facilitate precise playing, especially in intense battles. In Serato DJ Pro, the Combo Pad mode allows you to combine up to four different pad modes simultaneously, opening up a wide range of creative options. The Scratch Bank allows quick access to assigned scratch samples by simply tapping the pads - ideal for spontaneous performances.
