The L series houses Yamaha's top acoustic guitars, which are not only full of innovative technology but also have a lot to offer visually.
Probably the most important new feature of the L Series is the so-called A.R.E. process.
A.R.E. stands for Acoustic Resonance Enhancement and essentially refers to an artificial aging process of the top woods to give a brand new guitar the response and sound of an instrument that has been played for years.
This is also how the LJ 6 Rosewood, a medium jumbo shape from the L Series, out or the Box sounds like a guitar that has been played and "matured" for some time.
The use of a solid fine-grained Engelmann spruce top naturally adds to the excellent sound of this guitar.
