The Big Stroke "Hydraulic" heads are 2-ply drumheads with a special feature: a thin oil film between the 2 plies of the head causes a shorter sustain, eliminates overtones and produces a powerful punch and much low end. Perfect for Rock and Metal.
What you pay is what you get, great stuff for the price, all sizes are great sounding.
I would not recommend for professional recording.
For demos and pre-production they do the job!
For rehearsing and practicing they are great!
