The AKG WMS 40 Mini Instrument Set, ISM2 (864,375 MHz) includes the SR 40 MINI receiver, the PT 40 MINI pocket transmitter, MKG L instrument cable, universal PSU (with adapters) and one AA battery.
This system operates within frequency 863 - 865 MHz and offers licence-free broadcast.
The AKG WMS 40 Mini features the unique HDAP (High Definition Audio Performance) technology ensuring the best possible, most realistic sound at any time.
The SR 40 Mini receiver provides three status LEDs indicating ON/OFF status, received signal strength (RF OK), and audio clipping (AF CLIP). The VOLUME control sets the level at the 1/4" output jack. The supplied switched mode power supply operates on any AC voltage from 110 to 240 VAC and includes EU, UK, and US adapters.
The PT 40 Mini bodypack is probably the smallest and lightest transmitter in its class. A reliable mini XLR output allows you to connect every compatible AKG miniature microphone. Battery life of the transmitter is the same legendary "30 hours off a single AA battery" as for the WMS 40 models, reducing the need to replace batteries and thus saving real money in the long run.

I've had this AKG cordless set for a few months now and it's awesome. I use it for my Steinberger Spirit Bass going into a Fender Rumble100. Works perfectly fine. I wish it would take a wider range of input voltages though because I also have a little lavalier mic with mini XLR but I have to really turn up the gain to get some volume. But you can't have everything for this price. But it's a very good system overall. I would certainly recommend it.
Since EC gave our frequencies away to LTE, we needed to replace a couple of headset mic transmitters. This one was a perfect match and costed a little.

Now for the sad part - if you are close to a cell tower, you still might get interference, since there is no gap between LTE frequencies and those 3 MHz, "generously" given to us... Bear that in mind and you will have a trouble free operation. If you are not sure about interference, you should go for 1800Mhz devices, which are plenty in Musicstore.
