The Raw series by Latin Percussion consists of a large number of street percussion instruments with a very individual and primal character that have their origin on street. The sound of these percussion instruments ranges from, depending on the playing style, fine to trashy. As individual as the sounds are, as versatile the applications of these innovative bells, drums and cans. No matter if you play Pop, Latin, Metal, Electro, World or of course Street music: the instruments of the Latin Percussion Raw series are an enrichment for every setup.
The Trash Snare from the LP Raw series doesn't really have anything in common with a conventional snare drum and that is exactly what makes it interesting.
The "shell" is modeled after a trash can lid and is filled with small plastic balls. Together with the included Snare Sound Enhancer, they provide a cutting snare sound. For energizing timbale sounds, simply remove the Snare Sound Enhanced. You can mount the Trash snare on a conventional snare stand or hold it in your hand with the practical handle.
But that is not enough: the Trash Snare can be used in so many ways. Flipped around, it can be used as gigantic shaker or as an ocean drum.
