FBT J 12A - Versatile active loudspeaker for professional applications

The FBT J 12A is a powerful active 2-way PA loudspeaker that is ideal for live applications, DJs, clubs, conference rooms or for use as a stage monitor. Equipped with a 12" custom woofer with 2" voice coil and a precisely tuned 1" high frequency driver, the speaker delivers a powerful, balanced sound with clear highs and powerful bass.

The modern bi-amp Class D power amplifier provides 350 watts RMS for the bass range and 100 watts RMS for the treble range and achieves peak outputs of up to 700 watts peak LF and 200 watts peak HF. With a frequency range of 50 Hz to 20 kHz and a maximum sound pressure level of 128 dB peak, the J 12A impresses with high dynamics and assertiveness for both speech and music sound reinforcement.

Thanks to the integrated DSP, four practice-oriented presets are available: "Original", "Floor/Vocal", "Boost/Lounge" and "Club/DJ". This allows the speaker to be adapted to different applications and sound preferences. In addition, a switchable HP filter ensures the optimum combination with a subwoofer.

For maximum flexibility, the FBT J 12A offers a separate balanced XLR input, a 6.3 mm jack input and a balanced XLR link output for looping through the signal. The mic/line switch also enables the direct connection of various signal sources.

The robust yet lightweight polypropylene housing is suitable for both mobile use and fixed installations. Thanks to the asymmetrical housing design, the J12A can also be used as a stage monitor without any problems. The features are complemented by a 35 mm stand mount and two integrated M10 flying points for professional installations.
