Organelle S2 - Meditation at Arpeggiator Lake

The S2 version with even more power!

The Organelle S2 from Critter & Guitari is the latest version of the compact multi-talent. Depending on the loaded program, the device is a digital synthesiser, sampler, groovebox, effects unit or vocoder. Thanks to the community-based Open source structure, you can draw from a huge pool of patches, sounds and functions and present your own creations there. The Organelle S2 can do everything that Organelle S can do, only much faster! The S2 version is powered by a speedy 1.8 GHz Quad Core processor, which is 50% faster than the previous model. Furthermore, there are a number of detail improvements such as new encoders with a better feel, simpler WLAN settings and a redesigned SD card slot that prevents the memory card from slipping into the device.

Expandable patches

The Organelle S2 comes with a large selection of patches ex works. New patches can be easily loaded via the MicroSD card. Simply search for new patches from the constantly growing preset list, save them on a USB stick and you can load the new patches into the Organelle S2 and start playing! Patches can be edited directly in the device or on the computer. Connect a keyboard, a mouse and a monitor and adjust the patches immediately. The Organelle S2 is based on the "Pure Data" protocol. Programming can also be done in simpler programming languages.

Open Source

Newly generated or already existing modified patches can be shared with other people. The Organelle S2 was created with the intention of being able to use it within the community. The entire system is based on open-source software and can be modified in every facet and down to the smallest detail.
