The mahogany body with an open-grain mahogany top flows seamlessly into a one-piece, three-strip mahogany neck, whose slim Thin-U profile, combined with the 12-inch radius and 22 extra-jumbo frets, creates ideal conditions for chord playing and fast leads. In terms of sound, ESP relies on two passive Seymour Duncan Alnico II Pro humbuckers, which are controlled via two volume controls, a shared tone control and the classic 3-way switch. A TonePros Locking TOM bridge with a lightweight aluminium stopbar, Sperzel Trim-Lok tuners and Dunlop straplocks round off the professional specification, whilst the satin Amber Cherry Sunburst finish, cream binding and chrome-plated hardware ensure a look that is both classic and distinctive.
