The Evans B16HDD HD Heavy Duty 16" is a specially designed tom head for those who value control, durability and a focused sound. It combines two plies (5 mil outer, 7.5 mil inner) with a 2 mil damping ring on the underside and precise dry vents around the rim. The result is a dry, short Sustain with reduced overtones - perfect for recordings, smaller setups or tight live mixes. Thanks to the robust coating, the head remains reliably tuned and stable even when played hard. Evans ' proven Level 360 technology also ensures easy head mounting, extended tuning range and even support.
