Intellijel Jellymix

5-channel stereo mixer with a colorful character

With the Jellymix, Intellijel presents a consistently analog audio mixer for small setups, live performers and sound colorists. The mixer impresses with its accurate workmanship and high-quality components as well as its robust, durable design. The special feature of the Jellymix is the pleasant, musical overdrive generated by soft clipping in all critical phases of the signal path (channel amplification, summing, EQ, aux buses, filter bus and main bus). This mixer therefore focuses on an independent, coloring character instead of a neutral sound image.

The five Stereo channel strips each offer an input gain of up to +26 dB, a tilt EQ, two Stereo aux/send with pre/off/post routing, main/filter routing, a large level control, L/R/overload LED level display and click-free muting. The muted channels lead to the CUE bus for pre-listening via headphones. Only channel 1 can be switched to Hi-Z for optimum processing of guitar and Bass.

The main bus is equipped with a dual Stereo Lowpass & Highpass filter whose resonance can be adjusted for high, low or both. The filters can be removed from the signal path individually and click-free. The overall level is displayed with an LED level meter and the headphone output can be switched to Main or Muted.

With this combination, the Jellymix occupies a special place in the ranks of desktop mixers, because a gripping dual filter paired with musical overdrive behavior offers a sound like hardly any other mixer.
