With the Duesenberg Starplayer Bass Champagne Sparkle presents Duesenberg a chic semi-acoustic electric bass, which is elegant Art Déco elements and a fat sound to please. The electric bass has a body made of maple with a solid centre block and top made of spruce, while the glued maple neck lies comfortably in the hand. In addition, two bass Duesenberg buckers on the amplifier promise warm bass sound with authentic Vintage character.

The back and sides of the Duesenberg Starplayer Bass are made of maple.
The construction of the Duesenberg Starplayer Bass Champagne Sparkle follows the classic semi-acoustic design. Accordingly, the four-string has a body with back and sides made of laminated maple, while the top is also made of laminated spruce. In combination with the shortened 30.3" scale, the combination delivers a fat tone with a warm wooden character that lays the perfect foundation for blues and rock grooves. The massive center block, which connects the bottom and sides, prevents feedback from occurring at high volumes.

The Duesenberg Starplayer Bass Champagne Sparkle uses two bass Duesenberg buckers in neck and bridge position as pickups, which capture the semi-acoustic sound of the bass excellently. Accordingly, the amplifier provides a warm tone with lively dynamics, with a rich bass foundation, harmonic mid-range and a silky tweeter spectrum that is perfect for authentic blues, beat and rock accompaniments. The passive circuit with individual volume controls for each humbucker and a master tone potentiometer allows a precise adjustment of the sound, while the on/off slide switch mutes the bass at lightning speed during pauses.
