The PRS SE Custom 24 Slate Blue at a glance

The PRS SE Custom 24 Slate Blue is one of the most popular models from Maryland guitar maker Paul Reed Smith and for good reason. The SE version of this 24-fret classic stays true to PRS’s traditional design philosophy, featuring a solid mahogany body with a solid maple top and a finely figured curly maple veneer, which gives the instrument its distinctive tonal character. Combined with two PRS SE 85/15 “S” humbucker pickups in the neck and bridge positions, the guitar delivers first-class sound, enhanced by the coil-split option for clear, well-defined single-coil tones. Classic features of the Custom 24 also include a vintage-style PRS tremolo secured with six screws and six PRS-designed tuners with the iconic wing-style buttons.
