The Roland TD-1KPX is an ultra-compact electronic drumset that is ideal for drummers who often need to transport their drums. Thanks to its innovative folding design, the TD-1KPX can be set up and torn down in seconds without the need for removing drum pads and cymbals. Equipped with silent mesh heads it is even possible to use the TD-1KPX E-Drum set in your apartment and play drums without risking bad blood with the neighbors. With optional trigger pedals, you can reduce the noise even further. The sound module can be operated intuitively, all settings can be made fast and easy.
Transportable e-drums were previously only available in entry level quality. With the TD-1KPX, the pro quality multi-zone drum pads of the high-end Roland drum series are now introduced to these kind of drumsets. The drum and cymbal pads do not even have to be removed, the innovative folding design ensures uncomplicated and stress-free assembly and removal. The folding stand can be flexibly adapted to any spatial situation and finds space in the smallest corner.
Both the 8-inch PDX-8 snare pad and the 6.5-inch PDX-6 tom pads are taken from the Roland Pro series and are equipped with silent mesh heads. These pads offer the advantage of minimal noise and they can also be played much better and convince with a nice rebound and sensitive response. The snare pad has an extra-wide rim for rimshots and comes in a 10" size.
The 10-inch CY-5 pads are used as hi-hat, crash and ride cymbals, which can be played almost like real cymbals due to their natural vibration. Crash and ride pads support two separate trigger zones for the surface and edge. The hi-hat convinces with a smooth transition between open and closed sounds.
The TD-1KPX is also an excellent instrument for teaching since it is packed with various exercises and learning functions. The sound module offers something for every taste. In addition to the metronome there is a coach mode which gives you more speed and precision. With the help of the Aux In connection you can also connect your smartphone or an MP3 player to the module to play along to your favorite songs. With the recording function you can record your performance and then analyze it.
Via USB, the TD-1KPX e-drum set can be easily connected to your computer, so you can record and store your songs directly in your DAW. Please note: Additional cables are required, which are not included in the scope of delivery.
