Altough you have a reduction of sound, the intonation stays clean over the whole tone range when you use the PM-7X. The comfortable playability is also available because the attack point is naturally and the air streams excellent.
The design of the PM-7X was improved so that the mute fits into the instruments case. It fits completely into the instruments bell.
