The Fame Forum IV Modern Satin Black impresses as a versatile electric guitar offering full modern appointments and high playability. The slim mahogany body with its chic curly maple top occupies a comfortable playing position, with the generous cutaways offering unimpeded access over the entire neck. The neck is made of mahogany and traditionally glued, while the flat "D" profile lies comfortably in the hand, so that every riff and lick flies off the ebony fingerboard. The proven combination of a Seymour Duncan SH-2n Jazz on the neck and a Seymour Duncan SH-4 JB on the bridge delivers a versatile sound between pop, blues and rock, which is enhanced by authentic single coil sounds thanks to Coil Split. The integrated Piezo pickup system also provides first-class acoustic guitar sounds, so there are no limits to the variety of sounds and musical expression. A Tune-O-Matic bridge with Schaller Stopbar tailpiece and precise M6 locking mechanisms from the same company complete the Fame Forum IV Modern Satin Black.
The Fame Forum IV Modern is manufactured by experienced guitar builders in Europe and accordingly convinces with a careful selection of wood and flawless workmanship. The body is made of Khaya mahogany with a top made of curly maple, the unique grain of which is beautifully accentuated by the finish. An undoubted highlight is the sharply contoured arch of the top with a cutaway ensuring unimpeded playability across all frets. The Sapelli mahogany neck lies comfortably in the hand thanks to the perfectly proportioned "D" profile, so that every note flies off the ebony fingerboard.
Thanks to the versatile pickups, the Fame Forum IV Modern delivers a very flexible sound. With a Seymour Duncan SH-4 JB on the bridge and a Seymour Duncan SH-2n Jazz on the neck, this proven humbucker pair provides the right sound for every genre between blues, pop, rock and even metal. The bridge pickup impresses with a high output and the enormous assertiveness of its sharply focused mids, while the neck pickup brings every note to life with endless sustain and warm vintage voice. Thanks to the coil split circuitry, authentic single coil sounds with the typically bell-like-clear sound development are also right at your finger tips.
Besides the magnetic pickups, the Fame Forum IV Modern is equipped with a GraphTech Ghost Piezo pickup system, which is integrated into the bridge and has an active preamp. A pull of the front volume control activates the system and delivers authentic acoustic guitar sounds with brilliant highs and the typical attack behavior. The volume of the piezo system can be adjusted via the rear potentiometer, so that mixing sounds are also possible with the magnetic Seymour Duncan pickups.
Last but not least, the Fame Forum IV Modern convinces with high-quality hardware that are optimized for both the stage and the studio with unrestricted reliability. From the traditional Schaller Stopbar tailpiece, the strings are guided over the GraphTech Resomax Tune-O-Matic bridge, whose string riders made of String Saver graphite material contain the Ghost Piezo elements. Also from GraphTech is the Black TUSQ saddle, behind which the strings on the headstock are held by precise Schaller M6 locking tuners. The Fame Forum IV Modern is also equipped with the popular Schaller Security Locks so that it hangs securely on the strap even during the wildest performances on stage.
