A matt Black Smoke finish combined with a chic cream binding and a contrasting white pickguard underline the simple beauty of the Martin 000-17E Black Smoke. Equipped with a solid Sitka spruce top and a solid mahogany body, this 000 resonates with clear bass, warm and nuanced midrange and brilliant highs. The assertive mids invite you to play extensively in fingerstyle.
The modified flat neck profile provides a soft and pleasant feel. Furthermore, the nickel-plated Golden Age Relic tuners provide tuning stability and precise tuning. Last but not least, an original Martin case is already included.
Extremely natural and dynamic sound, thanks to the Fishman Matrix VT Enhance pickup
The innovative Fishman Matrix VT Enhance pickup is an under-saddle pickup in combination with the Acoustic Imaging System. The latter was developed by Martin in cooperation with Fishman individually for each model. Accordingly, by adding the image, the original sound of the guitar is amplified and all this in studio microphone quality and without susceptibility to feedback.
At the upper part of the sound hole there is a volume and tone control, while at the lower part of the sound hole the model image can be mixed as desired. This results in a true and natural sound image that would otherwise only have been possible with feedback-prone condenser microphones. Practical: For easy access to the battery compartment, the end pin is positioned at the jack input.
