The Ornate Criminal from After Later Audio is the evolution of the popular Ornament & Crime multimodule. The module can run four different applications simultaneously and process either two mono or one stereo signal, powered by the Teensy 4.1 platform and the acclaimed Phazerville firmware. Its software is open-source, allowing experienced users to develop custom apps, and there is ample storage for personal configurations. Available apps include Envelope, Arpeggiator, Sequencer, Oscilloscope, Turing Machine, CV Recorder, Quantizer, Gate Delay, MIDI Interface, Clock Divider, and many more. The Ornate Criminal is ideal for compact systems that require flexible functionality with every patch, larger setups needing all functions in quadruplicate, and for anyone who repeatedly relies on certain modules but has limited space.
